Founded in 1998 by Bruce Fitzsimmons and Rich Maiorano, the band began as a studio and live performance project with core members Kevin Glassel-drums and Jon Scarantino-bass & lead vocals.  After backing Eagles’ songwriter Jack Tempchin along with Norm Sanchez on bass and Rick Schmidt on pedal steel, Franklin Jenkins joined as a full time member in 2003 and the group evolved into a stellar rotation of So California musicians to include, Bob Helm-fiddle, Dennis Caplinger-fiddle, banjo, mandolin, Ed Casey-Pedal Steel, and guitarists Jerry McCann, Dan Lehner, Scott Sekol, Jim Hollingsworth, Jarry Presko, and Jeff Ballew.

Shadowdogs would like to thank Radio Host Kenny Weissberg, San Diego Troubadour Magazine and the many fans of alt-country music who’ve supported us!
